Five design teams ” one from Philadelphia ” were shortlisted to come up with a master plan for the Central Delaware Riverfront. The firms were selected from a pool of 23 proposals that were submitted to the Delaware River Waterfront Corp.
The Central Delaware Riverfront extends from Allegheny Avenue on the north to Oregon Avenue on the south, and from the Delaware River on the east to Interstate 95 on the west.
The teams are from: Beyer Blinder Belle of New York/Weiss Manfredi of New York; Civitas of Denver and New York/West 8 of Rotterdam, Netherlands, and New York; Cooper Robertson Partners of New York; James Corner Field Operations of New York; and WRT of Philadelphia.
