SKF USA Headquarters is scheduled to be completed in April 2009. A Platinum rating is anticipated under LEED for Commercial Interiors. Sustainable features include: high reflectivity roof, waterless urinals, lighting design that minimizes light pollution, geothermal heating & cooling, daylight sensors, an 82% reduction in construction waste, FSC certified wood products, low VOC materials, salvaged furniture refurbished with Greenguard certified fabrics, and green housekeeping. SKF Group is the leading global supplier of products, customer solutions, and services for rolling bearings and seals. SKF achieved group certification to ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental management systems, becoming the first bearings manufacturer to do so. The company voluntarily reports the economic, environmental, and social impacts of its activities, products, and services. SKF's Director of Environmental Affairs, Bill McGlocklin, will speak about his expertise in sustainability reporting.

Aerzen USA Headquarters achieved a LEED-NC Gold rating. The building was designed to house an assembly plant and office space under one roof, as well as to enable lean manufacturing. Green features othis project include: straw-bale walls, passive solar design, low VOC materials, high reflectivity roof, waterless urinals, pervious paving, rain gardens, daylighting techniques, salvaged furniture, œEarth Tubes to condition some of the air underground, and nearly 100% reduction of construction waste. Aerzen is a leading manufacturer of high-quality industrial blowers, compressors, and vacuum pumps.
